We are thrilled to announce that Ensemble Companio is currently among the list of semi-finalists for both the American Prize for community chorusesand the American Prize Ernst Bacon Award for performances of American music. As some of you may know, Ensemble Companio was the recipient of the American Prize for the recording of our very first concert 8 years ago and we are honored to be in consideration for this prestigious award once again.
This incredible opportunity was made possible in large part due to the support of our generous community of donors. Those contributions allow us to purchase new works from underrepresented composers, record our live concerts, produce albums of our work, and share them with audiences and critics.
