Next season is Ensemble Companio's 10th anniversary, and to celebrate, we are commissioning a new work! Entitled “The Road Home”, the 10th anniversary concert program will explore themes of home, returning, and belonging. A competition is now underway to select a US-based composer whose identity/ies and/or experiences are underrepresented in choral music to compose a new, unaccompanied SATB choral work for next season. The winner will join the ensemble to workshop the piece in rehearsal, and will attend the world premiere concert in 2021.
